Here is a gorgeous, lyrical Armenian Artsakh kilim from 1932. Totally unique piece. Inscription is “1932 Leza, Ala, May 4th” which are two female names. My theory is this kilim was woven for the birth of twins. Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?
